Angie - The Rolling Stone

CHORDS:
-------
    EADGBE ADGBE

Am (x02210) C (x32010)
E7*(0x2430) G* (xx5435)
G (3x0033) Dm (xx0231)
F (133211) C/B(x20010)

Great song from the Stones.
I've been meaning to tab this song for
ages but I never did because there's a lot of little stuff that has
to be tabbed. But I finally did it, and it sounds cool, the little
riffs you throw in with the chords make it sound real good.
If you wanna do the barre with your index finger you can play the
E7* as (022430). And remember,
the C/B is always a transition chord,
it's never strummed more than once.

<> = Natural harmonic
p = Pull-off
h = Hammer-on

OK, before you start playing any verses you must know a few things
or they'll sound like crap. First there's the instantly recognizable
riff he throws in after most Am chords:

E|--0-0-0-0-0-0--| E|-0-0-0-0-0--|
B|--5-5-5-5-3-1--| or sometimes just B|-5-5-5-3-1--|
G|---------------| G|------------|
D|---------------| D|------------|
A|---------------| A|------------|
E|---------------| E|------------|

I'm not gonna let you know whenever he plays it, just listen to the
song, he throws it in after the Am in the verses.

Then there's the strange E7* chord,
you should try to play it something like this:

    E7*
E|-------0---0-0---0---|
B|-------3---3-3---3---| Not 100% like this, but similar.
G|-------4---4-4---4---|
D|-------2---2-2---2---|
A|---------------------|
E|--0------------0-----|

And sometimes he plays:

    E7*
E|----0-------0---|
B|------3---3-----|
G|--------4-------|
D|----------------|
A|----------------|
E|-0--------------|

...and finally there's the F-riff, which is how he ends the verses,
moving from F to C. It's played either like this:

    F C
E|--1-1---1-1----------0--|
B|--1-1---1-1--1---1---1--|
G|--3-2---2-2--0h2-0---0--|
D|--3-3---3-3--3---3-0-2--|
A|-------------------2-3--|
E|------------------------|

Or like this:

    F C
E|--1-1---1-1------1---0--|
B|--1-1---1-1--1---1---1--|
G|--3-2---2-2--0h2-2---0--|
D|--3-3---3-3--3---3-0-2--|
A|-------------------2-3--|
E|------------------------|

OK, now you know all the little tips and tricks for the verses,
you can begin. Enjoy!!
